This portal has a number of interactive online forms available to make it easier to request certain services from your local Fire & Rescue Service. The forms are easy to complete and your information is confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party.

Home visit requests

Just how safe is your home? Your local Fire & Rescue Service will be able to visit your home and carry out an inspection to help you identify potential fire risks and know what to do to reduce or prevent them. Firesetter advisor requests

Children are often curious about fire and flames. Some can become obsessed to the point of putting lives in danger - theirs and other people's. If you have any concerns you can request assistance from your local Fire & Rescue Service here.

School visit requests

The Fire & Rescue Services are committed to working in partnership with schools to raise the awareness of home fire safety. Many have formed partnerships with local education authorities to develop awareness programmes concerning the overall education of children in becoming "safer citizens". Community event requests

Fire & Rescue Services play a key role in the community to raise the profile of fire safety awareness and help educate and inform members of the public. Through practical examples, they can provide some straighforward things you can do to help minimise the risk of a fire in your home or business premises. Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order compliance

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 introduces significant change. As well as simplifying current legislation, it introduces the need for employers, building owners and occupiers to have a greater understanding of fire safety and nominate a "responsible person" to ensure compliance. Fireworks / explosives licence

Fireworks/explosives licence

Some Fire & Rescue Services will be able to process applications for the storage of explosives that do not require an explosives certificate e.g. fireworks, seatbelt tensioners and other pyrotechnic substances. You can find out more and apply for a licence online here.

Petroleum licence

Some Fire & Rescue Services are able to process applications for the storage and dispensing of petrol and LNG (liquid methane). Please note that a fee will be charged for the issue of a petroleum licence. You can find out more and apply for a licence online here.
